Who is Nicole Meertens?
Nicole Meertens (Principal)

Nicole has over 20 years’ experience in the accountancy and taxation services industry, providing clients with professional advice on a range of taxation and business advisory matters.
After completing a Bachelor of Commerce in 2000, Nicole Meertens has been working in the public practice, predominantly in the accountancy, taxation and business services field, both here in Cairns as well as Brisbane.
Nicole attained her Chartered Accountant status in 2004, and fellowship in 2014.
Nicole opened her own accountancy practice in 2013, specializing in accountancy, taxation and business advisory services. Nicole provides a personalised, tailored approach to her clients, in a confidential and trusting environment.
This combination of qualifications, experience and expertise gives Nicole a comprehensive understanding of Australian Taxation laws and business advisory matters that allow her to assist her clients in respect to:
• achieving their business goals; and
• attaining the best possible taxation outcome for their personal circumstances.
